Lister RT petrol Loco Kit
In 1926 Lister introduced the Auto truck with a 600cc JAP petrol engine. Its success prompted the launch two years later of a railway version using the same engine and fuel tank package but mounted on a four wheel chassis. Like the diesel version that we still manufacture, ventilation for the engine and driver was never a problem since the bodywork is noticeable by its complete absence! Our model is based on the RT version that was fitted with a JAP 980cc V twin motor. Around 350 ‘R’ and ‘RT’ locos were built between 1928 and 1956. Many survive to this day. Our model is of whitemetal and brass, can be constructed using low melt solder or epoxy glue and comes with full, illustrated instructions. The kit comes complete, all you supply is glue, paint and two AAA batteries. 32 or 45 mm gauge.Dimensions: Length 120 mm, width 65 mm, height 65 mm.
